Will there be a sequel to another film of Akshay Kumar?
Akshay Kumar has been delighting audiences this year with the captivating ‘OMG 2’, and he further graces us with the anticipation of ‘Welcome 3’. Now, we are thrilled to unveil that the beloved 2000 blockbuster drama ‘Dhadkan’ is poised to embark on a remarkable sequel.
As per the findings of the esteemed DNA report, esteemed director Dharmesh Darshan has revealed that he has been graciously sought after by esteemed producer Ratan Jain to helm the highly anticipated ‘Dhadkan 2’.
They said “People miss the kind of work I have done and that makes me happy. Apart from the film Raja Hindustani (1996), if people ask me about any film, it is Dhadkan and will I make its sequel.
Why hasn’t the sequel been made yet?
Dharmesh said that for almost ten years, he was asked to make another movie like Dhadkan. But there were also other people who wanted to do the same thing.
He said, “I was not sure because the film Dhadkan is a classic. It’s exactly the same thing as making the second part of ‘Kabhi Kabhi’ (1976).
He said that because Gadar 2 did well, he now believes that Dhadkan 2 will also be successful. Dharmesh mentioned that he was offered Dhadkan 2 again about 10-15 days ago.
Will Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar be the lead actors?
Similar to the situation with ‘Gadar 2’, Dharmesh has also shared his insight regarding the potential selection of the main cast for ‘Dhadkan 2’, whether it will consist of the original actors or a fresh new lineup. According to him, no conclusive decision has been made concerning the casting process as of yet. However, he did hint that there is a possibility of introducing some fresh faces to the film, indicating the potential inclusion of new talents in the project.
